Audience Feedback Questionnaire results:
these are a sample of questionarres taken from our audience feedback research relating to our finished music video.
these questionarres were filled in by a variety of male and female students at Wykem raging between the ages of 16-19.
they give us an idea of the most succesful aspects of our final product, for instance when asked their favourite point of the video, many stated that they enjoyed the "tree shots" the mosts, and on a whole we gained a respectable average of 8/10 for the piece.

aswell as highlighting our success, our audience feedback also gave us an idea of what we could change and what disadvantages the video as a whole.
for instance one person stated that the quality of the camera used was poor, suggesting next time we should aim to use a more advanced camera rather than a Sony Handycam.

Favourite genre of music? when asked what their favourite style of music is, many of the people who gave feedback stated that they like to listen to RnB or Hip-Hop, which advantages us before they make any judgements as they can be catogorized into the the target audience we were aiming for.
also, when asked what genre of music they thought our video would fit into, almost everyone answered RnB or Hip-Hop, which shows we have successfully created a product that will reach our target, niche audience.

Ancillary text pictures: These are the images we took to be used for both our magazine adverts and our digipak's. an image was also selected to be used for the disc itself, the image that will appear on the front of my digipak.

each image was purposely shot in the same locations so that when looked at together, both our final piece and our ancillary texts look professional and consistent.

the costume we used in the image was chosen to represent the success of the character as an "artist", for example the white jumper, which as a labelled item of clothing, showing the artist as being blessed with wealth.

we also used props in the images. the artist is pictured with earphones around his neck, used to represent his love for music and what comes with it. also, the picture of the artist with a mercedes car, a prop that was also used in the music video, once again adding to the consistency of all of our products when put together.

the mercedes itself is mentioned in during our chosen for the music video, being a very expensive and a very popular luxury to succesful artists, something we aimed to incorporate in our music video during research and planning.

Music Video First Draft:
DVD Disc design:
this is the our final design, for the actual disc, which will be printed onto the dvd when the music video is exported.
the image is taken in the same location as the magazine advert and digipak pictures where taken, to help give the whole thing a consistent look.
we also used this technique when choosing our font style.

The image itself was designed on Photoshop, placing an image over the top of a disc template, to be sure that the picture would fit onto the DVD. for extra precaution, we enlarged the image to be a centremetre larger than the disc template, so the image would safely print to size.
IT Digipak Drafts:

this is our chosen layout for our digipak.
the layout shows where each image we have taken will fit onto the final product.
each picture will be consistent, taken in the same locations, to give the the digipak a professoinal look.

we will also create a strip on Photoshop to go down each side of the digipak when it is closed, so that the album can be located when in a pile of other albums.

IT Album Advert Drafts:

Hand Drawn Digipak Drafts:

in preparation, we made hand drawn drafts of a digipak to use as a guidline for our final piece.
each panel corresponds with the way the digipak will be laid out and how it will look in real life.

each panel will consist of atleast one image, images in which we took at the same time as taking pictures of our magazine advert, some of the images may even possibly be repeated, to give the product a consistent look.

some of the panels also will contain text. for instance, the front panel will state the album name (which is the same as the "artist") and the same font will be used to do this as we will use for our advert and the disc itself.
